The 3.2kW is the smallest turbine in the Proven range. A high performer for its size, this new machine has evolved from the hardy 2.5kW unit which has been installed successfully throughout the world over the last 20 years.
Noted for its quietness the Proven 3.2 is available with a choice of tower heights: 6.5m, 11m & 15m. As with all Proven turbines there is both a grid-connect version and a battery charging version for remote sites.
Powering out of the way cottages, a remote railway station in the Highlands, radio relay bases, telemetry on unmanned oil rigs at sea and even pop-up targets on a military training area, the Proven7 must be the most versatile wind turbine ever made.

Electrical Layout The electrical layout consists one 3kW inverter, wind turbine control panel with Voltmeter and ammeter to show wind turbine output & a rotary isolator switch to isolate the turbine output (lockable in the 'off' position). We install a Kilo Watt Hour (kWh) meter which records the total production from the turbine. This kWh meter can be used for ROC (Renewable Obligation Certificate) or FIT (feed In Tariff) payment. The electrical system fits onto a four foot by four foot woodern board. |

Mechanical MechanismThe blades employ a patented double hinge system which allows the blades to change pitch in varying wind speeds. This regulates the power output from the turbine and prevents overspeed in high winds. |
