The SMA 6kW Inverter is a grid connect type, we use these inverters for connecting the Proven6 wind turbine to the mains supply, although this inverter can be used to connect any DC power source to the mains providing the DC Voltage is between 250V and 600V and the power is less than the maximum rating of the inverter (6kW in this case).
