Aurora - grid tie inverter (6kW)
This inverter does not have a transformer and is therefore much lighter than the SMA inverter. With 16 DC set points (configurable by laptop), this inverter is able to track closely to the power curve of its input/ prime mover power output. This enables it to get the most out of the power source and therefore enables a high output yield.
Proven have now decided to use the Aurora inverter with their 3.2kW wind turbine (the old 2.5kW wind turbine). This is because the power output is well matched to the Aurora size and power plotting.
